“I’ve lost 35 pounds over the last six months, and I still eat McDonald’s every day.”

Nobody believes that second part. But I’m not going to pretend I’d rather have a salad. I wouldn’t. That’s always where diets fell apart for me.

I tried the apps. Scanned barcodes, weighed food, logged snacks. Eventually, I just stopped opening them. Then I tried cutting things out completely. No bread, no takeout. Just a list of everything I liked with a big ‘no’ next to it.

I’d last three days. Work would run late, I’d hit the drive-thru, and think, ‘Well, ruined it now. I’ll start again Monday.’

This system was different because it started with the foods I wanted to keep. Instead of telling me I can never have McDonald’s, it gave me a plan for my exact order and the rest of my meals.

It wasn’t unlimited burgers. I changed how much I ate, but I didn’t give up what I enjoyed. For the first time, I wasn’t waiting for the day I could finally quit the diet.

I eat my burger, follow the plan, and get on with my day.

I didn’t need another lecture telling me to stop eating this. I needed a practical way to fit it in.

KNOW THE MENU. KNOW YOUR OPTIONS.

The calories might surprise you.

Illustrative comparison: 175 grams of whole almonds, about six and a quarter servings, approximately 1,000 calories. A McDouble, medium fries and Coke Zero Sugar: 710 calories.
ALMONDS · 175 G≈ 1,000 calories
McDOUBLE + MEDIUM FRIES + COKE ZERO710 calories
175 g of almonds is a large portion—about 6¼ label servings. The McDonald’s example is one McDouble, one medium fries and Coke Zero Sugar, without extra sauces.

A food’s reputation doesn’t tell you its calorie count. The order, the portion, the sides and the drink all add up.

Almonds provide valuable nutrients. This example compares calories, not which food is healthier. Your overall nutrition still matters.

That’s why we look at the whole order: helping you keep foods you enjoy, understand your options, and plan the rest of your meals.

U.S. McDonald’s published values: McDouble: 390 calories + medium fries: 320 + plain Coke Zero Sugar: 0 = 710 calories.

Blue Diamond Whole Natural almond label: 160 calories per 28 g. Calculation: 175 ÷ 28 × 160 = approximately 1,000 calories. Label rounding, actual serving sizes and preparation affect values. This is deliberately a large almond portion, not a standard snack serving.

Our system was not tested in either study. These results do not establish that our plan outperforms medication or predict your progress.

Study sources & what these numbers mean

Foster-Schubert et al., Obesity, 2012. A randomized trial of 439 sedentary postmenopausal women with overweight or obesity. The dietary intervention was calorie-reduced and low-fat; exercise built toward 225 minutes per week. This chart shows three selected groups. The study also included a combined diet-and-exercise group, which had the greatest average loss (10.8%).

These are one-year group averages, not results for The Fast Food Diet System or a fast-food plan. The small change in the no-lifestyle-change group was not statistically significant. Physical activity remains valuable for health. Keeping favorite foods still requires managing portions and overall intake.

GLP-1 withdrawal: Wilding et al., Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, 2022. The STEP 1 extension followed a subset of adults with overweight or obesity without diabetes (327 participants across treatment and placebo groups). This view shows the semaglutide 2.4 mg group: 17.3% mean weight loss at 68 weeks, then 11.6 percentage points regained over the following 52 weeks; reported net loss at week 120 was 5.6%. Both medication and structured lifestyle support were withdrawn. These exploratory results concern this regimen and follow-up period, not every GLP-1 drug or every individual. The study supports the need for ongoing weight-management treatment; it does not show our plan prevents regain or replaces prescribed care.

Still wondering if this fits your life?

Can I keep pizza, burgers and takeout?

Yes, familiar foods can be considered in planned portions, alongside other foods. Your overall intake still matters. This is not unlimited eating or a promise that fast food causes weight loss. Usual orders from places such as McDonald’s can be part of the preferences you share; we are not affiliated with any restaurant.

Do I need to log every meal?

Daily logging is not the core task. The system works out your meals and portions upfront, then gives you planned swaps. You still need to follow the portions: adding or changing foods can change the balance of your plan.

What makes my system personalized?

Your favorite foods, usual restaurant orders, schedule, cooking preferences and relevant profile guide the meal structure. The goal is a repeatable plan that fits your routine, with portions and swaps supplied alongside the meals.

What if I do not want to cook every day?

Share that preference in the questionnaire. Repeatable meals, simple preparation and familiar restaurant choices are part of the proposed approach. You do not need a different elaborate recipe for every meal.

How much weight will I lose?

There is no promised number or timeline. Results depend on your overall intake, activity, health, starting point and consistency. This product has not been clinically tested. Individual experiences vary.

What’s included in my 30-day plan?

The offer is one personalized, downloadable 30-day eating system with meals, portions, food swaps and a weekly shopping list, delivered by email after you complete the questionnaire and choose to purchase. No subscription, app or live coaching is included.

Can I print the system?

Yes. The offer is a downloadable plan you can keep on your phone or print. It is not an app or an ongoing membership.

Do I need 30 different recipes?

No. Repeatable meals are part of the approach. Food swaps add alternatives without requiring a new recipe for every meal.

Are the examples shown my actual plan?

No. The samples illustrate the proposed document format. Your meals and portions would depend on your questionnaire answers. They are not complete nutrition prescriptions.

Do I need to exercise?

Physical activity supports health and weight management, but it does not replace attention to overall intake. This product covers meal planning, not exercise programming. Choose activity appropriate for your health and ability.

Is this suitable for everyone?

This is general meal-planning support for adults, not medical nutrition therapy. It has not yet been reviewed by a dietitian. If you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have an eating-disorder history, or need a diet for a medical condition, seek advice from a qualified health professional.
